- 32 GB.
- Where are save games stored?
- In the SAVE folder. The save file is written during the next power cycle after saving.
- Why are there save files in the SAVE folder for games that don’t support saving?
- MrCART does not know which games support saving, so it treats all games as if they do.
- Does MrCART use an internal battery?
- No.
Known issues
- ROMs smaller than 256 KB:
- You likely have one of the first MrCART units without the updated firmware. RetroOnyx units can flash all power-of-two sizes.
- 32 Mbit games launched with FLASHED->:
- Original MrCART units and RetroOnyx batch 1 and 2 units may crash if you start the game using FLASHED->. A fresh flash works correctly. Your cartridge needs a firmware update to fix this.
- 3D Tetris save game:
- Original MrCART units and RetroOnyx batch 1 and 2 units are affected. The game cannot save. This is a hardware issue.
